reliable airport shuttle from cdg

i need to arrange a reliable, reasonably priced airport shuttle from cdg to hotel du levant,18 rue de la Harpe. I have 14 persons, two shuttles, any suggestions ?

with a traveling party of 14 and their baggage you will definitely need either two shuttle vans or a small bus. Try contacting this shuttle firm (among others) directly with your specic requirements, for a rate quote--

Yeah, there are a million and a half shuttle services in Paris and in my opinion it makes more sense organizing this through the hotel considering they can stay in touch with the company on your day of arrival to make sure things work out, also you won%26#39;t have to pay up front, which often happens when you book online.

Another advantage of booking through the hotel is that the company surely doesn%26#39;t want to lose a hotel as customer and will most probably be more efficient.

Also one last little thing I might get stoned for but the cheapest is not always the best. Regular prices usually run between 15-20 Euros per person.

Does anyone know the price comparision between shuttles and taxis from CDG (to Latin Quarter)? There are four of us.

Babe, your question is a relevant one: normal taxis will only take three persons, but %26quot;monospace%26quot; (people carrier) ones easily accommodate four. And the price should be around € 50 at most with all extras. So, you do the maths and realize that it is slightly cheaper than the doomed shuttle, and less of a hassle (no reservations, waiting around, etc. ). Same applies for wink: 14 persons = 4 taxis = € 200.

While the maths are correct I would still consider one important factor... Traffic, which can easily increase the price to 65 euros.

The next thing for a group which might also be relevant is the ease of travelling all together.

Most of the time it is indeed easier to grab a taxi from the airport and a shuttle to return.

Thank you both for great answers!! Looks like we%26#39;ll be taking a taxi!

The average taxi fare from CDG into central Paris will rune 40-50 €uro---but in your case, you must add a 2,70 € surcharge for the 4th passenger and the 1 € per bag after the 1st....this will bring your %26#39;average up to 45-60 €. Airport shuttle services will axerage 15-19 € per person for a one-way reservation. So even if your taxi fare exceeds the average, a TAXI PARISIEN from the regular queue outside of every CDG arrival terminal will probably still be your best bet.

It seems like taking a taxi is also much more convenient. I want to get from the airport to our hotel as quickly as possible. I%26#39;m so excited about this trip I may just run along side the taxi!!!

Hi Babe, we always prefer taking taxis from and to CDG. We have been stuck in traffic although not too long and we%26#39;ve never paid more than 47 euro to the 4th, 5th, and 6th districts.

Try www.parisconnection.com - it%26#39;s a wonderful company.
