Taxi from Gare Routier,Nice to Villefranche-sur-mer

Can anyone advise the cost of a taxi fare from Gare RoutierNice to Villefranche-sur-mer. We are flying to Nice in five weeks time and know we can take the bus from the airport into Nice quite easily.

Hello

If you want to save the money, then you might as well continue your onward journey by bus from Nice Gare Routiere, there are a few you could take, but the 100 is probably the most frequent and easiest.

If you are going to brook the cost of a taxi from the Gare Routiere, it might be worth paying from the airport, saving the time and hassle of travelling by bus into Nice, and getting a taxi straight away from the airport to give you a door to door drop-off. As a compromise, by the end of your holiday, you will be familiar with the buses and bus stops etc and just use buses to get back to the airport. According to the Nice airport website, a %26#39;typical%26#39; taxi fare from the airport to St Jean Cap Ferrat, which is the very next town east of Villefranche ranges from 43-51 euros (day fare, 7am to 7pm) and the cost to Nice is quoted as 20-25 euros, so I guess the cost of Villefranche will lie somewhere between the too, probably more towards the 40 euro mark perhaps. Thankyou for your help,I am aware we can travel by bus to Villefranche but was thinking of reducing the cost of going by taxi by not going directly from the airport. We will have luggage and intended,as you suggested,to take a taxi there and travel back to the airport by bus when we have sussed out the times etc..We are going the come back to Nice the day before we return to the U.K. and have booked a hotel overnight.
