Help with conflict in itinerary-please

While in Paris May 16-24, we were planning on an early dinner near the Eiffel Tower on Friday (we were considering Au Bon Accueil) and going up in the Eiffel Tower after dinner. We were planning on visiting Versailles on Sunday so that we could see the fountains. We were going to have dinner at L%26#39;Orangerie on the Ile St Louis that evening but now find out they are closed Sunday. We already have reservations for the other nights we will be in Paris, The only possibility (without making alot of changes) if we really want to eat at L%26#39;Orangerie, would be to eat there Friday night and go up in the Eiffel Tower Sunday night. Would it be too much to go to Versailles during the day and then get to an early dinner and do the Eiffel Tower the same night? Also, Au Bon Accueil is closed on weekends, so any other restaurant suggestions for that night? Thanks.

My friend who is very energetic did something similar. She spent five hours at versaisse and then went to the eiffel tower. She didn%26#39;t have a dinner but that would probably give you more energy. I understand that versaiise is really a full day excersion but you might get away with it. What makes this idea feasible is that if you take the train it actually stops at the eiffel tower on the way back and you can get out there. I%26#39;m not sure how long it is from the train to the tower but I imagine its not too far.

I hope this helps.
