Antibes

Considering renting apartment on Rue d%26#39;Antibes. Is this a very noisy area?

Also are there any safety issues in the Antibes/Cannes area (of course taking the normal precautions when travelling)

We stayed in a Citadine apt. years ago on rue d%26#39;Antibes (in Cannes) and the windows were, I suppose, double-glazed/or special in some way; it was an oasis of quiet. Not that you asked, but the apt. had A/C which was much needed at the time, so maybe that was the reason for the high-end windows. It would have been vey noisy without them.

As for safety, the usual/normal precautions apply ~ just like elsewhere. However, I am less afraid of actual violence there, than in some other places.
