Louvre, Seine, Musee d'Orsay: Walking Distance?

Hello, can anyone recommend a budget (or slightly higher) hotel for four people that is within walking distance of the Louvre, etc..? Thank you in advance for any responses.

We had a great experience at the Hotel Tonic Louvre on the Rue de Roule just off the Rue de Rivoli within walking distance of the Louvre, the Seine, Pont Neuf leading to the left bank where you%26#39;ll reach the Musee d%26#39;Orsay. This is a small older hotel, but it%26#39;s clean and included a full buffet breakfast in the price which saved us a lot of money and kept us going for a good part of the day. Be sure to ask for rooms on the second floor front. They also have one family sized room on the third floor. This hotel has AC also, and it works!

You couild consider the Mansart, which is just off the Place Vendôme. From there it%26#39;s about 3 blocks to the Louvre, 2 to the Seine, and just across that to the Orsay.

On the Left Bank, check out these hotels (amongst others) in the upper-6eme--Saint Germain des Prés, in a variety of price ranges...all conveniently located (certainly within either easy strolling or walking distances of the sites noted) in a great neighborhood--

Try Citadines Louvre which is across the road from the Louvre and next door to Palais Royal. Pyramides and Palais Royal/Louvre metros walking distance away. Apartment can accomodate four people and has own kitchen with microwave and utensils. I was able to get discount accomodation on www.hotelclub.net. Enjoy your visit!
