can anyone let me know if there is a creative solution to luggage storage? we would like to travel from paris for a few days but not take all our luggage. are there lockers or storage facilities available at the airport or train stations? anything in paris? we%26#39;d be gone 5 days at the most.

No storage options at CDG.
Yes there is a %26quot;consigne%26quot; (left luggage office) at Gare du Nord, and at MOST of the other main line terminals in Paris. If you are going to be gone for 5 days I don%26#39;t think you can use lockers. The time limit on those is 3 days.
Opening hours for the consigne at Gare du Nord are 07:30 to 22:00, but I%26#39;d be inclined not to test the outer limits of those times. And they may be closed at any time if there is a security alert.
Are you returning to Paris, and to the same hotel? if so your hotel might be willing to keep a couple of cases for you.
