Do a search for a post of mine titled %26quot;Metro/museum passes - strategies and prices.%26quot; After you%26#39;ve read that - and the replies after it - ask again if yoy need more info.

Meanwhile you do not want to use taxis to get around Pari unless you have a ton of money.

The best way to see Paris, in my opinion, is to walk. Bring very good walking shoes.

Bring good walking shoes but you should also certainly use the Metro. It%26#39;s easy and convenient. Be sure to bring a good Paris map, one that%26#39;s easy to carry.

ok thanx! what about bus or metro is better?

|||

It may be personal preference.

I prefer the metro. I find it very easy to navigate and very fast. IMO, Bus routes are more confusing, a bit slower, but you are above ground so you see more of the sites.

ic thanx guys!!!

I prefer the metro too easy to navigate and quite reliable.

%26gt;%26gt;%26gt;what about bus or metro is better?%26lt;%26lt;%26lt;

Neither...it depends on the situation. The Metro rides through a hole in the ground and there%26#39;s not much to see out of the windows as you go, but it%26#39;s relatively easy-to-use and usually get you where you want to go much more quickly. The buses have much better views out the windows as you go, but aren%26#39;t quite as easy to figure out (routes, stops, direction) and will tend to take longer to get there. If you have any personal mobility issues, you%26#39;ll finfd that the public buses have fewer stairs to ascend and desend (relatively few Metro stations are equipped with working escalators or elevators) But very often, the quickest and most direct way to get between places in Paris will simply be to walk. As an exclusive form of transportation, taxi do tend to be expensive...but as an occasional convenience, they%26#39;re not that expensive and fit into the transportation %26#39;mix%26#39; quite nicely as the situation warrants.

Hi

I would say the metro. Walk as much as you can and when you get tired just find the nearest metro station. We went to Paris for a week during easter and we bought a Carte orange and we used it a lot to get around day and night :-)

Use whatever works for the particular trip. Except taxis, except in extreme circumstances. If you buy Mobilis pass you can use trains and busses on the 1 pass. This means you dont have to make a decision until you start out on a trip
