We just returned from a stay at the Hi Hotel in Nice. It is a great hotel, unlike any we have stayed in before. We stayed in two different themed rooms on different nights. The first one we stayed in was the ‘Happy day and night’ room. This was quite small but very funky. It was bright green and pink and had a see through shower…not great if your not on hols with your partner….we had to cover the shower with a bed sheet!!
The second room was the techno room...which is amazing…you get a remote control that controls, the DVD player, the amp, the TV and the surround sound. The TV is actually a large movable projector screen, the bath tub is in the room, with a curtain going round it, and the sink is glass all the way round!
The hotel has a roof top terrace with a tiny swimming pool, deck chairs and water beds!
This hotel is not glamorous, or doesn’t have outstanding service, but it is very different and the stay is a unique and great experience.
