Paris Fashion Show schedule?

My wife and I are going to be in Paris for a short visit next week Wed 26-Apr to Sat 29-Apr. She would love to attend a fashion show. I%26#39;m a complete neophyte on the subject, so please excuse the naivete.

Are there shows at this time of year that are open to the public? Is there anywhere online (or elsewhere) that we could get a schedule?

You%26#39;re probably thinking of the sort of glamour fashion show covered in the press. Those are held at select times of year (April not being one of them) and they are by invitation only. HOWEVER, Galeries Lafayette does host a weekly fashion show open to the public. I know you have to make reservations, and I%26#39;m sure somebody here has the specifics.

That%26#39;s perfect, thank-you! I found their reservation information on their website. Now I just have to hope that I didn%26#39;t leave it too late....

And after the fashion show, go upstairs to the roof - the Galeries Lafayette has a great view of Paris (nothing like the Eiffel Tower, however, just a great panoramic view.) Also, the cafeteria which is one or two floors below has big full windows with great views and decent to good food. Also, wine. Also affordable. If you want coffee, you need to ask for it at the cashier - they will give you a token which you put in a contraption at the far left across from the windows. It delivers good coffee into a small cup. If you%26#39;re a coffee fan, get two tokens and have another cup.

There%26#39;s a Maxim%26#39;s on a lower floor - a more upscale place to eat. The Galeries is pretty neat for shopping and checking out the beautiful stained glass domed cieling.
