We are heading off to Nice for 3 days, arriving tomorrow, I heard that we can rent scooters and scoot around! Sounds like fun, but does anyone know where we can ideally go with these scooter? what are the possible destinations/ attractions that we can get to that is not too far for a scooter?

3 days in Nice , would use the public transport and walk, scooters can be fun,but beware of the other drivers, regular occurence to see a moped and its rider spreadeagle across the road.If you choose to hire a moped there are a couple of places along the Promenade not far from your hotel.

thanks for your answer! i was thinking more riding it outside of Nice city itself, any where we can go sort of close by and has interesting sights?

Even outside of Nice riding a moto can be dangerous. There%26#39;s just too much traffic, and often road construction adds to the problem. A teen-aged friend of our had a bad accident a few months ago, and he was experienced at using the roads and knew the French traffic system.
