Minivan Rental in France

We are a party of 7 adults travelling to Paris, southern France and Barcelona for about 3 weeks in May/June. We are debating which of the minivans will better be suited for such a large group in terms of reliability, comfortability and luggage space - either the Renault Espace Long or the Peugeot Expert. With the manufacturer%26#39;s buyback program, the Peugeot Expert works out to be cheaper in rental. We would appreciate any feedback on these 2 vehicles or any other suggestion you may have. Thanks.

Go for the Pug - get the 1.9 Diesel. Its not the fastest vehicle, but it does get the thick end of 45 mpg (thats real imperial gallons, not your reduced US equivalent, which is 37.5 mpg)

I had a Peugeot Partner at xmas that was fine - good upright seating and heaps of legroom (Im 6%26#39;4). Never driven the Expert, but it%26#39;s similar.

My brother used the buyback program when he hired a pug 10 seater a couple of years ago and said it worked really well for him.
