This hotel really messed up our booking and left us with no acccommodation for the first night of our holiday!
A member of the hotel staff who turned out to be a trainee took our booking for 3 rooms for 1 night only (apparently %26#39;no hotels in Courchevel would ever have accepted the booking%26#39;). The manager then e-mailed me cancelling the booking and returning the deposit. He said simply there had been a %26#39;mistake%26#39;. When I then phoned to complain that we had already spent 1500 euros on non-changeable flights, he insisted he couldn%26#39;t help and eventually put the phone down on me! Not quite the warm Savoyard welcome advertised on the website!
Have thankfully found rooms at the much friendlier and extremely efficient Hotel les Tovets. Be warned! The Aiglon looks friendly, but it is most definitely not.

The most shocking hotel ! Its about to change hands - having been bought by a Scottish chap. Should be up and running next year - they say it will be a 4 star hotel. Lets hope it is!
