Where to stay?

hi! I can%26#39;t find any hotel in the days of film festival, i just find veru expansive room.. Someone could give me some advice? Qualche italiano su questo forum che andrà al festival?

My sister and I were in Cannes during the 2000 festival and had a great time! We stayed at a private residence that was suggested by this youth hostel - Le Chalit. The owners of the private home are MR %26amp; Mrs Trinchero. I don%26#39;t know if they still rent out their rooms, (they had a few rooms with baths, and a shared kitchen, they lived upstairs) it was very private and I think it was about $75 a night. It was located about 5 blocks from the beach,the train station and the center of the festival. I don%26#39;t even know if this email still exists, but you could try! Again, this is the email to the hostel next door, which may have availability, but they were booking for the Trinchero%26#39;s as well. Good luck!
