Elephants in the Ménagerie?

Are there elephants in the Ménagerie within the Jardin des Plantes?

At the bottom of the page there is a button %26quot;Contacts%26quot; - here you can send an e-mail to the zoo and ask about the elephants.

I believe that there are elephants only in the zoo in Bois de Vincennes, as the Ménagerie to my knowledge only has smaller animals, reptiles and birds.

Funny question BTW: sounds like a hybrid between a zen-buddhist enigma and a bona fide coded spy-message......

No elephants. It does house some of the saddest looking animals in the world in cages far too small.
