Help Time between flights see anything???

Hi,

Just wondering if we could do a short trip to see anything between our flights. We have 3 1/2 hours if the plane arrives on time till our next flight. We will be coming from the USA and will have gone through customs before the flight. Do we have to go through again before flying on to Sweden?

Probably noy enough time to do anything but it doesn%26#39;t hurt to ask :O)

Thanks

It would be cutting it too close to try and go into Paris.

If your inbound flight is parked out on the tarmac, it will take an hour to unload and get in to the terminal. You may need to change terminals for your next flight.

Forget it. It will take you at least 45 min. to go from the airport to the centre of Paris. And if you should eventually get there, you are almost certain to miss your plane for Sweden, because leaving Paris is really hard to do.

Stockholm is - as a comfort for missing Paris - a really beautiful city (the Venice of Scandinavia), especially around the harbour and %26quot;Gamla Stan%26quot; (The old Town). Try to find the restaurant %26quot;Mårten Trotzig%26quot;

you will have a memorable dinner of fish and reindeer or moose, and a very good redwine.

This is the menu I had when I was in Stockholm in March - yummieee:

Mustard marinated smoked Herring on toast with Capers, Beetroots and Red Onion

128:-

Roasted fillet of Reindeer with Port Wine Sauce and Lingonberry Sabayon. sautéed Haricots Verts and Potato Cake filled with Chanterelle-and Cheese

298:-

Manjari Chocolate Cake Filled with Vanillabrulée

Served with marinated Strawberries

You will probably have to clear customs again - I have to between the UK and France. The only advantage is that you may be able to check your bags through to Sweden from the US.

You will still have to go through security though - and that can be a real drag at CDG.

I think there may be a reason you have 3 1/2 hours at the airport. You may have time for a coffee and a croissant at an airport restaurant though.
