I will be in Paris from May 20 to 26 and I am thinking to visit another country that close by. I would like to get some idea on places and the best and cheapest transportation to get there. Thanks.

But why, when you have only five full days in Paris. You really need more than that if you are to have anything more than a quick race round the major %26quot;must see%26quot; sights?
Five days is not a lot of time for a city where you could spend a busy month and still have whole areas left unexplored and many worthwhile places unseen.
