What strike?

Someome that is in Paris said there is a strike...does anyone have any info on this? Is this a train strike?

There is a demonstration scheduled for tommorrow (today) Tuesday, April 18th at and around Place d%26#39;Italia, down in the 13eme arrondissement that is expected to disrupt surface traffic in the area and several bus lignes that run through the area. Metro and RER traffic are expected to run normally...but one can expect at least some delays and crowded conditions along the lignes serving this area
