paris visite card

I have prepurchased Paris Visite passes for the Metro and it was noted to validate the passes before using then for the first time. How is that done exactly?

You simply writethe first day of use date in the box on the pass. When you use the separate ticket/coupon in a RER or Metro turnstile (remember to retieve the ticket as you passthrough the turnstile). That automatically %26#39;..dates..%26#39; the ticket/coupon.

Whe you use a public bus ***DO NOT***DO NOT***DO NOT*** insert the ticket/coupon into the compositor machine when you board the bus. If you do, this will IN-validate the ticket/coupon and it will no longer work in RER/Metro turnstiles and that portion of the pass will no longer be of use to you. When you board a public bus or tram, simply display the Card portion of the pass to the driver.
